The Government of the Northwest Territories-Just For Kids  

These Web pages explain the job of a Member of the Legislative Assembly in cartoon format. Students can also print out copies of the coat of arms and territorial mace as well as design their own coat of arms.

These government Web pages provide detailed information about the Legislative Assembly and the government of the Northwest Territories. The virtual tour allows students to visit the Legislative Assembly building. The Web site material is suitable for students in grades 5 & 6.
