Goal

Use two meanings of division to solve problems.

Instructions for Use

Sum Sense Division allows students to test a variety of division strategies.

To play Sum Sense Division, read the instructions on the front page. Choose how many questions you want to answer by clicking the up or down arrow. Choose your time limit by doing the same thing. Click on the “Start” hand icon. You will be shown 4 different cards. Arrange the cards to fill in a division number sentence. Click “Next” when you think you have the correct equation. If you are correct, a new question will appear. If your answer is not correct, you will be able to try again. At the end of the game, press “Main” at the top of the screen to get back to the front screen and play again.
