Instructions for Use

Architecture Blocks helps students investigate shapes by making architectural pictures.

To use Architecture Blocks, click on "Ideas. can you make these pictures?' at the bottom of the screen. Click on a picture, to get a page of hints helping you to recreate that picture. Then try to make your own architectural buildings. Use horizontal blocks, wooden beam blocks, steel beam blocks, cat tails, half blocks, and arch blocks in your creations. Click on a block, and then click on the workspace to place the block. Remember to work from the bottom up as if you were building a house. To remove blocks, click on the white square block, and then click on any block you don't want. To erase the workspace, click on the 'Reset'   button.
