Dr. Peter Seixas
Dr. Peter Seixas is a Professor, Canada Research Chair in the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy, and Director of the Centre for the Study of Historical Consciousness at UBC. He also has 15 years of experience as a high school Social Studies teacher in Vancouver. Peter earned a Ph.D. in history from UCLA and is the author of numerous articles in Canadian and International journals. Peter is the founder and director of The Historical Thinking Project, a pan‐Canadian history education reform initiative.
