former Pier 21 staff and volunteers.

War Museum
The official site of the Canadian War Museum. Offers
numerous articles, resources and a search feature. Also listed are current
exhibits and programs.
Imperial
War Museum - Britain
The official site of the Imperial War Museum, London,
U.K. Site includes education resources such as: "What was life like in
the Second World War?" This is an online resource that looks at different
aspects of life during the wartime period, using images, sounds, and downloadable
resources. There are descriptions of Canada's involvement in Britain's
wars from a British perspective.

Heritage - Government of Canada
This searchable site is the official
site of the Department of Canadian Heritage. This department is responsible
for national policies and programs that promote Canadian content, foster
cultural participation, active citizenship, and participation in Canada's
civic life, and strengthens connections among Canadians. Topics include
arts and culture, and diversity and multiculturalism.

Charter of Rights and Freedoms
This government of Canada site is a compilation
of resources to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Canada's Charter of
Rights and Freedoms. Included in the site is text from the charter and
education resources, including curriculum correlations.

This site is called the Information
Gateway to Nunavut. It includes information on its formation, on-line
volumes of interviews with community elders, business and cultural directories,

describes some of the cultural symbols that establish the Canadian national
identity, such as the national anthem and the flag. The site includes
