Environment Canada Page (214, #11 ) Environment Canada Web site providing information on government policies and procedure for maintaining natural resource. Clicking on Related Resources will lead to a page with a variety of links to various organizations, NGO's and information sources. Ministry of the Environment Page (214, #11 ) Ontario Ministry of the Environment page. Under the water section, policies for drinking water, watershed management, etc. are described. In addition, a link is provided for Other Environmental Sites. EFMA.org Page ( 215, Explore an Issue) This is the Euro Fertilizer Manufacturers Association web page. It features links to several articles on the issue of fertilizer and the environment, and others on new techniques which could be used to help defend a position taken in the panel discussion.
International Fertilizer Industry Association. Search their archives and publications to find articles that deal with the environmental impacts of fertilizer. A good site to get detailed information. Gardening with the Garden Helper Page (215, EAI ) The Garden Helper is a gardening Web site which discusses fertilizer components and their uses. It provides a good starting point for researching components of fertilizer. Further researching those components can help form an argument for the question.
TRIUMF Page ( 221, question 11) The TRIUMF homepage features a full listing of what TRIUMF is, and what it is used for. Some of the information may be too technical to be of use to students, however; much of it is very informative. Natural Resources: Energy in Canada 2000 Page ( 222, question 17) This page from Environment Canada discusses nuclear power in Canada. It describes AECL and CANDU reactors. Nuclear Medicine Page ( 223, question 8) From General Electric, a page describing Nuclear Medicine. The site has links to various aspects of nuclear medicine, their uses and the science involved.

Page (221, #11 ) Ebco Technologies has developed cyclotrons in partnership with TRIUMF. This commercial site discusses the industrial applications of cyclotrons. How Nuclear Radiation Works Page (223, #8 ) From the How Stuff Works Web site this is the first page on a detailed description of nuclear radiation and its uses. It provide links to various sites about projects involving green chemistry and allows for searches in their library and databases. The page also discusses the role this dye hasplayed in the economy of Peru. "This Little Red Bug is Important" Page (240, #8 ) The Chemical Institute of Canada has this page describing the production of carmine and the insect from which it comes. Green Chemistry with Zeolite Catalysts Page (244, #4 ) Chemical Engineering Resources site providing a text description of green chemistry with zeolite catalysts. This site provides examples of current projects underway using green chemistry. Green Chemistry Program Page (244, #4 ) Envirosense web on the EPA server site.
