10.1
The Electric Circuit
Simple Circuits.  From the Fizzics Fizzle site. This page covers the basic circuit symbols, R=V/l, series and parallel circuits. High school level.
10.2
Electricity and Electric Circuits
Visual Physics.
10.3
Electric Potential (Voltage)
Inside a Battery.  Shockwave presentation of the inside of a Duracell battery.

Hand Battery.  Explore how your skin and two different metals create a battery.

10.4
Building a Simple Wet Cell
How a Battery Works.  A good explanation of how a wet cell works.

Electrochemical Cells.  Want to try something more challenging? This is a good tutorial on building your own half cell.

10.5
Electro-chemical
Cells
Battery Terminology.  List of terms used when discussing the characteristics of batteries.

10.6
Batteries
The Human Battery.  In a nutshell, a battery uses a chemical reaction to produce an electrical current. In this experiment, an electric current is created using nothing more than human bodies.

Clarendon Dry Pile.  The world's oldest working dry cell. This online museum exhibit is referred to in the Guinness Book of Records as the "world's most durable battery" delivering "ceaseless tintinnabulation".

10.7
Cells in Series and Parallel
Introduction to Batteries.  Explains the difference between cells in series and parallel

DC Circuits.  Excellent page on series and parallel circuits with a mini-quiz at the end. You can also ask questions if you need further information.

Cells and Batteries: Costs and Benefits
Recycler's World.  Recycler's World was established as a world-wide trading site for information related to secondary or recyclable commodities, by-products, used & surplus items or materials.
10.9
Electric Current
Stripped Down Motor.  Make a simple electric motor with common materials.
10.10
Electrical Resistance and Ohm's Law

The Virtual lightbulb Simulator (Java Applet) — U. of Oregon.  "Discover OHMS law by using different combinations of Voltage and Resistance and constructing a circuit that activates the Virtual lightbulb."
