The Nelson Science 9 student text is designed in an engaging and student-friendly manner. Each of the four units corresponds with a curriculum strand and is further divided into four chapters. The instructional design clearly addresses the curriculum goals of: understanding basic concepts; developing skills of inquiry and communication; and relating science to technology, society and the environment.
