Researching predictions about change and the world of work
|

I had to walk 4 miles to school, there was no subway, and we had to do our
homework with pencil and paper—we didn't have any fancy computers
or calculators like you kids have." If you had the opportunity to interview
someone from an older generation for an earlier activity in this unit, you
know that there's truth to be found in every one of those stories. Change
is inevitable and powerful. The world you will be working in ten years from
now will not be the same as it is now.

the last two decades as a result of technological change and describe
how these changes have come about.

changing world of work.
