Thousands of years ago, there was a land bridge between Asia and North America. People, plants, and animals crossed from Asia to North America over this bridge. Find out where Beringia is located and learn more about the fascinating and unusual animals that lived there. Click on "Teacher's Forum" from the bottom of the menu on the left hand side of the page. Then click "Beringia Quest," and then "Section 1" to read all about Beringia. When you're finished, go to "Kids Corner" to learn how to draw a moose, or to complete a word search.

Yukon History

Check out this Web site to learn the important events in Yukon history, from the time of the land bridge, to today.
