1. Look at page 11 of InfoCanada Yukon. Do you know what the languages of Yukon's
Aboriginal peoples sound like? Go to the Yukon
Native Language 2. Click "Contents" on the top menu bar. When the page opens, you will see links for each of the eight Aboriginal languages spoken in Yukon. Click on each language to open a page that will give you information about that language. List two facts about each language. 3. At the bottom of each language page you can click the sound bar to hear what a phrase you know in English sounds like in the language page you are on. 4. After you have finished exploring the Web site, write a paragraph about the most interesting fact or facts you learned. Why did you find that fact or facts interesting? |
