Web Links

Parks Canada

The Parks Canada Web site provides links to all of Canada's national parks, by province and territory. In Quebec, students can find out more about the St. Saguenay-St. Lawrence National Marine Park, which protects many marine species, including the beluga whale. They can also search the site for other national parks in the St. Lawrence Lowland region. The site also provides a Teacher Guide section with ongoing activities, programs, and competitions.

The Quebec Winter Carnival

The Quebec Winter Carnival is a major tourist event in the St. Lawrence Lowland region and one of Canada's best-known winter celebrations. The carnival updates its Web site annually. It includes a Teacher's Corner with interactive games, songs, and drawings as well as an on-line school kit.
