National Historic Sites of Canada

This section of the Parks Canada Web site showcases the national historic sites across the country. They are places of profound importance to our nation, its history, and our understanding of Canada. "Each national historic site is a distinct and vibrant symbol of Canadian identity. It is also a centre of learning, a wealth of information, a living history adventure, an experience of what Canada used to be and what it is today." At this Web site students can find out why these areas have been preserved as natural wonders and cultural treasures.
