This Web page provides a pronunciation guide to Aboriginal names in the British Columbia sector of the Cordillera. The home page for this site is the Department of Aboriginal Education, part of the Ministry of Education in British Columbia. This award-winning Web site, created by Carcross Community School in Yukon, provides a comprehensive look at the history of the territory, including a link to the history of the Tlingit Nation. Students can learn about many aspects of Yukon through a variety of text and photographs.
