Government of Canada: Digital Collections: The Cariboo Gold Rush  

This portal has links to the largest Internet source of Canadian history including great information about the Cariboo Gold Rush, facts about gold, and a special "For Kids!" Section. Follow Willie Sluice to the gold fields (If you can survive the journey!), or answer the ad to settle land in the colony of British Columbia in the Pioneer Adventure Game. There are lots of games to play along the way! This is a great place to start your BC history research.
