Click on the digital archives to see lots of illustrations and photos about the people, places, and events in Canada's past and present.

The Alberta Government Web site provides information about the government in power and the issues affecting the people of Alberta. It can help you find many Government of Alberta information and services that you might need.

?_Geography   Ministry Information, Please!

1. Click here to visit the Alberta Government Web site.

2. At the Web site, click on government at a glance from the blue  

    menu on the left hand side. Then click on ministry overviews in

    the middle column.

3. Choose two ministries to research. Find out:

           a) the name of the minister for each ministry you choose

           b) the major responsibilities for each ministry

           c) recent news stories about each ministry

    Click here to download a worksheet to record your information.

4. Choose one of the ministries from your chart and prepare a class

    display about the ministry, its current minister, and its

    responsibilities. Be sure to include appropriate pictures and

    captions.
