Diagnostic tests at the beginning of each chapter help teachers
assess student readiness.

Section Quizzes help teachers assess student understanding.
- Chapter Tests (Levels A, B, and C)
A four-page chapter test assesses students on the key
concepts and skills of the chapter through multiple choice, short
answer, and extended response items. Each test is available in three
levels:
- Level A for below-level students
- Level B for on-level students
- Level C for above-level students

A four-page unit test follows the same format as chapter tests
and is also available in three levels.
