The features and structure of Nelson Education Science & Technology
7/8 are consistent for all units at both grade levels. The student
books are designed in a clear, two-page spread format. Each spread serves
the purposes of concept development, skill development or relating science
and technology to the real world. The student books are complemented
by a Skills Handbook which further supports skill development in all
units of study.
(Note: the page samples that follow represent random selections from
both the grade 7 and grade 8 student books since the features are consistent
from unit to unit and from grade to grade. Please note that these
