Who's Involved
THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Development of Nelson Science & Technology 8 resources has involved
the participation of many authors, editors, educational consultants,
expert reviewers and classroom teachers. Over the course of 1998 and
1999, the Nelson Education publishing team consulted over 800 educators
in 85 focus groups across Ontario to identify the needs and concerns
of teachers implementing Ontario's new Science and Technology curriculum.
The information obtained through this extensive consultation process
has ensured that Nelson Science & Technology 8 not only addresses
the expectations of the curriculum, but also meets the needs of teachers
and students.
