Instructions for Use

Survey Says prompts your child to conduct a survey of what people want to be when they grow up, and make a graph to display the data.

To use Survey Says, type in the number of people who want to do the jobs listed. Click the 'Next' button. Create a bar graph of the data by dragging the bars to the correct location. Click the 'Check' button to check your answers.

Kids Baby-Sitting Survey helps your child read a survey.

To use Kids Baby-Sitting Survey, take the survey by inputting answers into the text boxes. Compare your hourly rate with the rates given in the survey. Decide whether the results of the survey would likely apply to other groups of people.

Analyze the Survey Results of Your Favorite Sports lets your child evaluate survey results.

To use Analyze the Survey Results of Your Favorite Sports, click on either link - Favourite Sport to Compete In, or Favourite Sport to Watch. Answer the questions with a pencil and paper, and compare your answers with the answers on the survey. Decide whether the results of this survey would likely apply to other groups of people.
