Lesson 3 - Interpreting Remainders

To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Interpreting Remainders, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Division with Remainders provides your child with practice identifying the remainder and quotient when dividing a 1-digit number.

To use Division with Remainders, click the 'Start Division' button. Input the answer and remainder in the text boxes next to the 'Check' button, then click 'Check'. See if your answer is correct.

Remainder lets your child practice division problems with remainders.

To find the correct exercise, click 'division' on the menu at the left of the screen and then, under the 'advanced column' click 1-digit divisor. Click the radio button that your child thinks is correct. When they have completed all the questions on the screen, click the 'Submit' button.
