Lesson 5 - Coordinate Grids
To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Coordinate Grids , here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use
Coordinates prompts your child to find locations on a grid.
To use Coordinates, click on the level of difficulty and then the 'Start' icon. Click on the door that represents the coordinates on the pigeon keeper's slate before the pigeon appears. Collect all the eggs before the time runs out. To begin again, click the 'Restart' icon.
Grid Coordinates prompts your child to identify and describe locations on a grid. There are links to two levels below; have students try both:
To use Grid Coordinates, locate the 'X' on the grid and input the coordinates for the 'X' in the text fields. Click the 'Check' button to see if your answer is correct. Click the 'Next Question' button to find new coordinates . Check your score to see your progress. To start a new game, click the 'Start Again' button.
