Lesson 10 - Number Neighbours: Facts with 7 and 8

To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Number Neighbours: Facts with 7 and 8, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Facts about 7 and 8 prompt your child to visualize strategies to multiply with 7 and 8.

To use Facts about 7 and 8, click "Show Multiple". Click on any number. The multiples will appear in red. Click on a second number and a second set of multiples will appear in blue shaded boxes. Your child has only two chances to select multiples, and then they must select the "Reset" button. If your child clicks the "Remove Multiple" button, all the multiples appear as blank boxes on the grid. The "Remove Multiple" button is not limited to two times. You can remove as many multiples as you like.

Mathmagician prompts your child practice multiplication and division.

Click on either the 'multiplication' or 'division' buttons. Have your child enter their name in the text box. Choose facts with 7 or 8 for multiplication or division. Click on 'Start'. Answer the questions in the text box before the time runs out.
