Lesson 4 - Bar Graphs with Scales

 

To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Bar Graphs with Scales, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Grapher is an interactive activity that lets students choose a scale that is appropriate for the data.

 

To use Grapher, click on the arrows to create the columns. Click on the numbers to change the scale. Click on the words to change the titles.

 

Bar Graph is an interactive activity that lets students input data, and show the data on different types of bar graphs.

To use Bar Graph, enter the data in the text fields or select a data set by clicking on the 'Data' button. Use the chart buttons to make different types of bar graphs from the data. Click the 'Reset' button to enter your own data. Click the 'Quit' button to exit the program.
