Lesson 10 - Measuring Temperature

 

To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Measuring Temperature, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

 

Reading a Minimum /Maximum Thermometer helps your child read temperature.

To use Reading a Minimum /Maximum Thermometer, slide the temperature gauge back and forth until the displayed temperature is the same as the temperature on the thermometer. Click the 'Am I Right?' button to see the answer. Always click the 'Refresh' button at the top of the toolbar to go to the next question.

Thermometer helps your child estimate and read temperature.

To use Thermometer, click the scroll bars to see the differences in degrees. Click the 'Random' button to see the difference in temperature for 2 days. Click the 'Quiz' button to determine the difference in temperature for 2 days. Click 'OK' to check the answer.
