Use this interactive activity to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about sliding 2-D shapes. Students can try this activity on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use
Patch Tool prompts students demonstrate transformations with slides.
To use Patch Tools, click on a pattern blocks to place it in the workspace. Add one or more pattern blocks to the workspace to create a pattern unit. Perform slides to repeat the pattern unit and create a pattern. Click the erase button to delete a shape.
