General Web Sites That May Be of Interest

Most spiritual faiths discussed in My Place in the World have their own easily accessed Web sites on the Internet.

You may find national and local newspaper Web sites useful for up-to-date information and discussion on some of the topics treated in My Place in the World. The government site would be most useful for finding out about current and proposed legislation.

Assembly of First Nations

An excellent source of information for the study of religious organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador is the Web site of Dr. Hans Rollmann. Go to the opening page of the Newfoundland and Labrador Religions site and follow the links.

The Web sites for the Red Cross of Canada, Christian Children's Fund of Canada, and Samaritan's Purse are excellent sites for examining how some organizations take social action in the world.

The Leadership.ca page "A Day in the Life: Gander rolls out the welcome mat" discusses the role of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, on September 11, 2001, as U.S. airspace was shut down.
