Nelson French Connection format |
| Nelson
French Connection uses a program called Elluminate (www.elluminate.com)
to provide online sessions for participants. Live sessions allow
participants to: |
- Listen and view the session over the internet at home or at
school
- Direct message or use a microphone to communicate with fellow
club members or the session's speaker
- Respond to survey questions and see results immediately
- Receive files with classroom activity suggestions
- Write in a whiteboard environment to interact in small-group
activities

Nelson French
Connection presents a wide-variety of monthly
topics. Each topic will be presented by a special guest speaker
with professional expertise on the subject at hand.
Note: Dates
and topic of sessions may change due to presenter availability.
The club adminstrator will keep you informed by email of any
changes.

- Format: Online
- Workshop Length: 45 minutes
- Start times are always 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
- Sessions are offered as a live, interactive session after-school/evening
(depending on your time zone)
- Sessions are then archived after a live session so that you
can watch and listen when it is most convenient to you
- An open 30-minute "follow-up" session aimed at discussing
implementation strategies and success stories follows one week
after each PD session.
