Vic Satzewich


Vic Satzewich is professor and chair of the Department of Sociology at McMaster University. His research interests are in the areas of racism, migration, First Nations studies, and the Ukrainian diaspora. He is the author of Racism and the Incorporation of Foreign Labour: Farm Labour Migration to Canada (Routledge, 1991), co-author (with Terry Wotherspoon) of First Nations: Race, Class and Gender Relations (Canadian Plains Research Centre, 2000), and editor of Racism and Social Inequality in Canada (Thompson Educational Publishers, 1998). He is the author of Chapter 9: Race and Ethnic Relations in the third edition of New Society.
