Rhonda Lenton


Rhonda Lenton is professor of Sociology and associate dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at McMaster University. Her major areas of research are gender, family violence, and health. She recently received a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada to conduct a study of domestic violence in Canada. Her recent publications include "Sexual Harassment in Public Places: Experiences of Canadian Women," Canadian Review of Sociology and Anthropology (36: 1999) (with Michael Smith, John Fox, and Norman Morra) and "An Empirical Evaluation of the Nursing Stress Scale," Journal of Nursing Measurement (Vol. 8: 2000) (with Susan French, John Eyles, and Vivienne Walters).
