Jane Gaskell
Jane Gaskell is a professor in the department of
Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia. Her books include Gender
Matters from School to Work, Canadian Secondary Schools: The National Report of the
Exemplary Schools Project, Gender Informs Curriculum: From Enrichment to
Transformation, and Debating Dropouts: Critical Perspectives on Research and Policy.
Her current research is on school choice policies and the impact of gender equity on
schools since 1970. Jane Gaskell is the author of Chapter 13: Education in New Society,
Third Edition.
