Libraries

    Early Canadiana Online is a digital library providing access to over 1,330,000 pages of books, pamphlets, and other printed materials documenting Canada’s heritage. The collection is particularly strong in the areas of literature, women’s history, Native studies, the history of French Canada, and the history of Hudson’s Bay Company. The contents can be browsed or searched (including a full-text search).

    National Library and Archives Canada site offers information about the library, access to its catalogue, and extensive online resources. Check out the Digital Library, especially its History pages.

    Canadian Library Catalogues, an index from the National Library, offers links to library catalogues across the country.
