School
As the largest Canadian owned and operated K-12 publisher, the School Division is a leading provider of teaching and learning solutions in the industry. We have worked to earn the confidence of Canadian educators, students and parents. Our exceptional team of sales, marketing, and editorial professionals collaborate with educators, students, ministries and industry experts to create and promote educational resources. We involve our customers in the development of learning solutions, investing in outstanding and dedicated people, and encouraging innovative and creative solutions to real issues.

Higher Education
Nelson’s Higher Education division is a leading provider of post-secondary teaching and learning solutions. Our exceptional team of sales, marketing, and editorial professionals collaborate with educators, students and industry experts to create and promote innovative educational resources through multiple channels. A highly collaborative team environment inspires internal and external customers to excellence.

Finance and Information Technology
A career in the Finance and Information Technology department means you could work in Accounting, Planning or Information Technology. The Planning and Accounting departments are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal control processes and also plays an important role in all acquisitions. Our IT department is divided into Applications and Operations. The Computer Operations group provides the infrastructure for computer, telephone and voice communication use. The Computer Applications group translates specific business requirements into practical applications through defined system analysis methodologies and system development processes.

Operations
The Operations Division is comprised of the Customer Support, Supply Chain Management and Facilities Management functions. Leading performance in terms of order cycle time, accuracy, and call answer rate is the result of a continuous improvement approach. The Supply Chain Management functions consist of Distribution, Transportation and Agency Inventory Service departments. Facilities Management is responsible to ensure the working environment is productive and that workplace safety standards are maintained in accordance with workplace and legislative requirements.

Media Production Services
The Media Production Services division is actively involved in the day-to-day publishing efforts of the business units. The division is comprised of six functional areas – Media Development Services, Composition and Prepress Technology, Asset Management, Content management, Production Services and Manufacturing.

Human Resources
Human Resources support the organization’s strategic initiatives through the acquisition, retention, development and succession of its greatest resources – our employees. We foster corporate communications, teamwork and innovation and apply our knowledge, skills and values to support all divisions and functions across the organization. We push the limits in search of emerging HR trends and Best Practices to impact the business on every level.

Modulo
Groupe Moduo Inc. located in our Montreal location, publishes, sells and distributes French language educational resources to serve the needs of Canadian learners from Kindergarten to University. Positions in this location include Operations, Sales, Marketing and Editorial.
