Use this interactive activity to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about 3-D objects. Students can try this activity on their own or in pairs.

Goal

Sort 3-D objects, using a single attribute. [C, CN, PS, R, V]

Instructions for Use

Sorting 3-D Shapes allows students to sort 3-D shapes based on a single attribute.

To use Sorting 3-D Shapes, click on the “Interactive whiteboard activity” link to get to the “Instructions” screen. Click on the “Activity” tab to start playing the game.

Click on the “Forward” button to go to the next question.

Note: This activity should be teacher guided and would be very effective on a SMART board. Tell students the attribute and have them sort the shapes that fit that attribute into the box.
