Section A: Comparing Length

Use this interactive activity to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about measurement. Students can try this activity on their own or in pairs.

Goal

Use direct comparison to compare two objects based on a single attribute, such as length (height) [C, CN, PS, R, V]

Instructions for Use

Length allows students to order the players from tallest to shortest.

To start Length, click the “game 14” link on the left.

To use Length, drag the players over the numbers to order them from tallest to shortest (where number one is the tallest). If you drag the player over the number correctly, the player clicks up to the side of the track over the number.

Click on the “Play” button to play again.
