**Builds Upon**

Student Book pages 244–250

**Instructions for Use**

**Integers **allows your child to review some strategies for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers, and then practice using those strategies.

Read through the lessons on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers. Then click on “Practice Exercises” at the bottom of the screen. Answer all 10 multiple choice questions. The activity will tell you if your answer is correct. If you are having trouble, click on “Rules for Operations with Integers.”

**Arithmetic Four** allows your child to play a game with a partner, similar to Connect Four, in which they practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers.

Find a classmate to play the game with and decide who will be ‘black’ and who will be ‘red’.

Choose Time Limit: 20 seconds, Difficulty: Level 2, and Problem Type(s): Integer Multiplication. Then click “Start Game.” Click “Ready”, answer the question and click “Answer.”

After you answer each question, you will be asked to pick a column on the board. Your game piece will drop into that column. The object of the game is to get 4 of your pieces in a row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, like in the game Connect Four.
