**Instructions for Use**

**Area of a Triangle** allows students to practice finding the area of a triangle.

To use Area of a Triangle, read the instructions for calculating area of a triangle at the top, and then scroll down to the practice section. Click the “Start” button to get a problem, and type your answer in the blank text box. Click the “Check” button to check each answer. The activity will keep track of how many correct answers you give.

**Triangle Explorer** allows students to calculate the area of a triangle drawn on a grid.

To use Triangle Explorer, look at the triangle on the grid and calculate the area. Type your answer into the blank text box and click the “Check Answer” button. Click the “New Triangle” button to try another triangle.
