**Instructions for Use**

**Division by Zero** explains why a number cannot be divided by zero, and why a calculator returns an error message when dividing by zero is attempted.

To use Division by Zero, click on the link and follow the text and examples.

**Dividing by 0 or 1 ** allows students to test their understanding of dividing by 0 or 1.

To use Dividing by 0 or 1, click on the “Start” button and choose the 1, 2, or 3 level of difficulty. The game will present a scene in which the player must cross a body of water by leaping onto floating logs to the other side. Each log has a math problem that works out to 1, 0, or no answer. The answer to the right logs to leap on is held up by a boy on the other side. If you leap onto the right logs you will get safely to the other side. If you leap on any other log you will sink and have to start over.
