Bargain Shopper

INTRODUCTION

Do you consider yourself a bargain shopper? Are you often looking for the best deal when purchasing an item? A store may advertise discounts in a number of ways including:
•   Everything discounted 35%
•  1/3 off all items
•  Save $4.00 off the original price

 

THE TASK

You will be learning about how to work with a percent discount on an item. Once you know the discount, you can calculate the sale price of your purchase. Then you will calculate the final sale price, including PST (if applicable) and GST.
