## CHAPTER 10: PROBABILITY

**Lesson 2: Representing Probabilities as Fractions and Percents**

Use these interactive activities to encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about probability.

**Goal**

Express probabilities using fractions, percents, and number lines.

**Builds Upon**

Student Book pages 431–435

**Instructions for Use**

**Spy Guys Interactive - Probability** is a good introduction to theoretical probability and to representing probabilities in different ways.

Click “Skip Intro”, then select “Lessons”, and then click on “Lesson 19: Probability.”

**Probability Spinner** your child can use this online spinner to find the experimental probability of different outcomes.

Use this site to conduct a variety of spinner experiments. Compare the experimental probability with the theoretical probability. Represent each probability in three different ways.

**Analyzing Game Probabilities** allows your child to practice solving probability problems and representing the probabilities as fractions.

Take this online quiz and click the “Check It” button at the end to check your answers. Use the “Hint” link if you’re having trouble.
