Instructions for Use

Reading Bar Graphs allows students to practice interpreting second-hand data presented in graphs, and using that data to answer questions.

Use the second-hand data presented in the graphs to answer the various questions.

Grapher allows students to graph information that they have gained from second-hand sources.

Create a question that you can find the answer to by investigating the find second-hand data. Once you have collected your data (from the Internet, newspapers, or books) use the data to construct a bar graph. Don’t forget to include all labels and an appropriate scale.
