Web QuestsChapter 10: Dividing MultiDigit NumbersPlay Day LunchINTRODUCTIONImagine a Play Day for 54 students. This is an event where each student will participate in a variety of activities, such as a beanbag toss and a relay race. All that playing and running around is going to make everybody very hungry!
THE TASKYou challenge is to work with a partner to organize lunch for one of the groups of students who will be attending the Play Day. You must organize the food and drinks and make sure you have enough servings of each item to feed everyone in your group. First you will determine the number of people in your group. Then, you will use the web to find the food and drink items that you want to serve. Make sure to calculate how much of each item you need. Finally, you will complete a menu chart to prove that your lunch plan will work, and that no one will go hungry!
