If you want to try working with a larger shape, increase the number for the shape’s perimeter.

**Calculate the Area of a Rectangle** allows students to determine and record area.

To use Calculate the area of a Rectangle, read the instructions and then scroll down the page to the Practice section. Click on the “Start” button and read the measurements in the first white box. Type the area into the second white box and click “Check” to see if it is correct. If it is, a new set of measurements will appear in the first box. If not, the correct answer will pop up.
