Chapter 2 -The Towns and Villages of Canada
INTRODUCTION
There are many cities in Canada such as Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary
and Winnipeg that have very large populations. Most people in Canada
know where these large cities can be found on a map of the province.
However, there are many towns and villages in Canada that have small
populations. These towns and villages are often not well known, even
by the people who live nearby, and it is sometimes difficult to find
them on a map when you are traveling
THE TASK
The Find-your-Way Map Company has decided to create a map of the
county in your area that will tell about our small towns and villages.
They want to show many of these small places on the map, along with
their populations.
You have been asked to investigate the population of 10 towns and
10 villages and then find out where they should be marked on the map.
You will then recommend 10 of these to be placed on the map. Give
reasons for your choices.
