Goal Read and record clock times to the half hour and quarter hour. Builds Upon Student Book pages 266-267 Instructions for Use Clocks allows your child to read and record time using digital and analogue clocks. Clocks is a good tool for helping your child tell the time using both analogue and digital times. To use Clocks, click “Start” on the first screen. An analogue clock will appear on the next screen, showing the current time. Play with the hands by adjusting the minutes and hours by clicking on the arrow buttons under each time set (1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour). Click on the “Now” button to take the clock back to the current time. Click on the arrow button to show a digital clock instead. Stop the Clock 1 allows your child to read and record time to the half hour. To use Stop the Clock 1, read the instructions on the opening screen and then click on the “Play” button. Drag the five digital times to the correct analogue time. Press “Stop the Clock” the record the time you took. Each clock presents a time using half hour intervals. Stop the Clock 2 allows your child to read and record time to the quarter hour. To use Stop the Clock 2, read the instructions on the opening screen and then click on the “Play” button. Drag the five digital times to the correct analogue time. Press “Stop the Clock” the record the time you took. Each clock presents a time using 15 minute intervals.
