Your child can try these activities on their own or in pairs. Goal Use diagrams to solve problems. Builds Upon Student Book pages 134–135 Instructions for Use PET MIX-UP lets your child solve a problem by filling in facts in a diagram. To use PET MIX-UP, read the game description and click on “Play”. On the new screen that opens, read the logic puzzle story at the top and the lists of facts to the right of the grid. Think about how the facts fit the attributes around the grid. Click on a square once to place a dot for true in it and twice to put in an “X” for false. Fill in all the squares and then click on “Check It”. If your answer is not right you will see “Sorry. This is not the correct solution” and you will need to revise it. If it is right, you will see “WINNER!” instead. To start over, click on “Clear & Restart”. DOG GIFTS lets your child solve a problem by filling in facts in a diagram. To use DOG GIFTS, follow the instructions above for PET MIX-UP.
