Draw different shapes for a given perimeter.

**Builds Upon**

Student Book pages 126–127

**Instructions for Use**

Cyberchase Airlines Builder asks students to make different shapes using the same perimeter. Note that students may need extra support understanding how to rotate lines and close off shapes, and how to make an “L” shape with the pieces. The first level of difficulty is most appropriate for students.

Click “Instructions” to read how to play, click “Next” after reading, then click “Play Game” to begin. Click “OK,” and then drag lines from the top right corner of the screen into the blue grid area to make a closed shape. To rotate a piece, click the piece so that it turns red, then click “Rotate Piece.” Pieces can be moved around on the grid as desired. When a shape is complete and all of the pieces have been used, click “Done” and then “Launch Ship!” Click “OK” to continue to make a different shape with the same perimeter (number of pieces). For help, click “Shapes You’ve Made” to see what you’ve already made and “Hint” for ideas of what shapes to make. When the first level is complete, click “OK” to continue to the next level.
