Instructions for Use

Stopwatch allows students to use a timer to measure lengths of time, either counting up from 0:00, or down from another given time.

To count up from 0:00, click “Start” below the time. Click “Stop” when the timing is complete, and “Reset” to start the clock again at 0:00.

To count down from another time, enter the time in white boxes at the top of the page, then click “Set Time.” The first box is for the hour, the second box is for the minutes, and the third box is for the seconds. Click the down arrow to the right of the large time to count down. Last, click “Start” to start the clock.

Analog and Digital Clocks allows students to use an analog clock to measure lengths of time.

Click “Start” at the bottom. Then click “Now” at the bottom left corner to start the clock at the current time. The clock will show the time as it passes. When you wish to stop the time, click the square below the clock.

Note to Teachers: You may also use one of the timers available under View/Gallery within the SMART Notebook software to measure time.
