Instructions for Use

Online Metronome can be used to measure the length of an activity. Students can work in pairs to time each other. This activity requires sound.

Type “40” instead of the “120” in the box on the screen.

Click on the wooden triangle to start it ticking. Click on it again to stop it ticking.

You and your partner can take turns timing each other for different activities.

How many ticks does it take you to write out your name?

How many ticks does it take you to tie your shoe?

Think of other activities you can try and see how many ticks they take!
