Instructions for Use

Cyber Pattern Player allows your child to create his or her own sound patterns. Encourage your child to create increasing patterns using the Cyber Pattern Player on the second screen of the activity. For example, the first row could have 2 squares in a row, the second row could have 4 squares in a row, the third row could have 6 squares in a row.

Click on boxes, leaving spaces in between, to create a sound pattern. Click “Next,” then click on boxes in different rows to create a sound pattern. Try to create increasing patterns.

Big Count allows your child to create his or her own increasing patterns. Your child will choose to skip count by 1s, 2s, 5s, or 10s.

Click on the number by which you would like to skip count to create an increasing pattern. The skip counting numbers will appear on the screen in order. Try to skip count before the numbers appear. You can click on the pause button if you need more time.
